The Summer Is Magic / El Verano Es Mágico

I captured this beach scene when I was leaving the place. I took it from above so you can imagine that the Summer is really magic.

Capturé esta escena playera cuando me iba del lugar. La tomé desde arriba asi pueden imaginar que el Verano es realmente mágico.

This photograph reminds the Golden Age of Viña del Mar beaches back in the 1920s-30s. I thank my dear aunt Mena and my cousin Claudia for taking me to Playa Amarilla, Con Con, Chile, and for allowing me to make this portrait snapshot with them. I love you!

Esta fotografía recuerda la Epoca Dorada de las playas de Viña del Mar en los años 20s y 30s. Agradezco a mi querida tía Mena y mi prima Claudia por llevarme a Playa Amarilla, en Con Con, Chile, y por permitirme hacer esta foto-retrato con ellas. Las quiero!

I captured these two guys defying the crashing waves against the rocks and I thought that they were going to jump on them...... but they, luckily, did not.

Capturé a estos dos muchachos desafiando las ruidosas olas contra las rocas y pensé que iban a saltar sobre ellas...... pero, afortunadamente, no lo hicieron.

I loved this scene where the ships are amid the fog at the Bay of Valparaíso, Chile.

Me encantó esta escena donde los barcos estan en medio de la niebla en la bahía de Valparaíso, Chile.

Summer Rain / LLuvia de Verano

 I was not supposed to photograph the beach in the rain, but the weather was unexpected so I had no choice and went down to feel the Mother Nature. I got wetted and splashed like a duck in the pond under a strange summer rain.

Inspired in the many stories about the Devil that parents, sometimes, tell their kids when they don't do well: "If you don't do well, the Devil will come and take you away!!". I was one of those kids, hehehe.
