Punk Road

 I always had in mind to re-enact the famous Beatles’ Abbey Road iconic photograph, but from a different point of view and from a different visual angle too. I had the idea of meeting these Punk-music style boys and I decided to contact them to make the iconic photo into reality. I looked for a street similar to the one in London and I found this “ped xing” which I considered it was the perfect one.

The day I met the guys and headed to the previously-chosen street, the temperature was too high because it was full warm summer (February 5th, 2010), and although we were able to bear the intense heat, we had fun making the shots.

Siempre tuve en mente de recrear la famosa fotografía ícono de Abbey Road de los Beatles, pero desde un punto de vista y un ángulo visual diferente también. Tuve la idea de encontrar a estos chicos del estilo de música Punk y decidí contactarlos para hacer la icónica foto en realidad. Busqué una calle similar a la de Londres y encontré este cruce peatonal la que consideré era la perfecta.

El día que conocí a los muchachos y nos dirigimos a la calle previamente elegida, la temperatura era demasiado alta porque era pleno verano (5 de Febrero 2010), y aunque pudimos soportar el intenso calor, nos divertimos haciendo las tomas.

 We had to repeat the crossing over and over whilst my finger didn't stop clicking the shutter to capture the attitude and achieve the best shot afterwards.

Tuvimos que repetir el cruce una y otra vez mientras mi dedo no paraba de hacer click en el disparador para capturar la actitud y conseguir la mejor toma después.
